What does "Rainbow Faith" mean exactly?
In the Bible, the rainbow was a symbol of a promise made by God to man. The Bible is filled with God's wonderful promises. "Faith" is simply our courage to rely on God's promises as written in the scriptures. Rainbow Faith is a Christian Grief Ministry with the solemn belief of living by faith and trusting in His promises.
What's wrong with sending traditional flowers?
Absolutely nothing! Our Remembrance Basket is a beautiful basket of roses with an encouraging message in a parchment scroll. Flowers PLUS. Or, you may want to send flowers now, and then give your friend or loved one some time to get beyond the funeral and the initial shock. Then, send one of our special bereavement gifts later. They make great gifts for the first anniversary of loss, and other special times.
How do I place an order?

Click on the "Add to Shopping Cart" buttons and when your order is complete, you will be given an option to print your order form for mail or fax purposes. Otherwise you may proceed through the checkout process to order online. To mail your order, send to Rainbow Faith, P.O. Box 130127, Tyler, TX 75713, using Visa/MasterCard, Discover or American Express, money order, or personal check or cashier's check. (Please do not send cash). Your order may be delayed depending on when we receive the order in the mail, and pending time for your personal check to clear.
Do you ship everything to me, or will you ship to the people I want to send the gifts to?
Either way. If you wish everything sent to you, you may place all of your items in one shopping cart or on one order. If you wish items to be sent to different recipients, you must place a separate order for each recipient. Shipping to more than one address will incur additional shipping/handling charges.
Can I send a gift card or a letter with my gift?
Yes! Before you click on any item's "Add to Shopping Cart" button, there is a box above that button where you may type your personal message to be included with that gift. There is no additional charge for this service. We also place a special label on the outside of the package that states, "A Gift For You From......" and your name, so they will know this is a gift and not something that they might be billed for later.
I forgot to select the FREE gift card and I've already placed my order. Is it too late now?
As long as yourorder has not already shipped, you can still add a personal gift card. You can email us with your personalization, or click on the "Forgot Gift Card" button to add your message, or contact us by phone with your information. It's best to call to confirm that the order hasn't already shipped since most orders ship within 24 hours.
I didn't add a gift card to my order. How will they know the gift is from me?
Every gift is mailed with a label on the outside of the package that states: "A Gift For You From...." If your name on the Billing Address is Jane Doe, then the package label will state "A Gift For You From Jane Doe". So even if you did not send a gift card, the recipient will still know the gift is from you. In the event that you chose to send a gift card, your name as it's stated on the gift card is what is placed on the outside label. For example, if your Billing Address lists your name as Mrs. Jane Doe, yet you requested a personal gift card from "Jane, Jack, and Joey Doe", then the outside label of the package will state "A Gift For You from Jane, Jack, and Joey Doe".
Why do you ask for their email address and phone at checkout? Is this necessary?
Our shopping cart is set up to require these that these fields are not left blank. However, for gift orders, we only need the recipients name and complete (and accurate) mailing address. You may simply insert your own phone number and email address in the other fields to avoid leaving them blank. Rest assured that we recognize the sensivity of your gift and we will NEVER contact the recipient of your gift for ANY REASON. If we should ever have any questions regarding your order, we will contact you directly.
What exactly are my shipping options? I need a gift delivered immediately.

How do I ship gifts to 2 different addresses?
You will need to complete a separate order (or shopping cart) for each address. Your shipping charges are based on the total merchandise shipped to one address. For multiple addresses, a separate order is required in order to calculate shipping for each address. How can I know if a gift has been delivered?
We email you an update when your order is ready to ship which includes a Delivery Confirmation or Tracking number. You can go to www.usps.com and click on "Track & Confirm" and type this number in the blank provided. It will then give you the date and time the order was delivered*. Priority Mail deliveries are normally delivered between 3-4 working days, depending on the destination.
*Tracking shipments with USPS Priority Mail “Track and Confirm”:
Priority Mail is shipped with a “Delivery Confirmation” number which is not intended for "in transit" tracking. It is designed solely for delivery confirmation and may show only the date and time of actual delivery to the recipient. On occasion, the USPS does not scan the delivery confirmation and it is not guaranteed that you will be able to access this information. In this event, it may be necessary for you to contact the recipient to determine if he/she has received your gift.
NOTE: When checking tracking at the USPS website, you may see the message “Accepted in Tyler, TX”. If you see this message it merely means that this is the date and time the package was presented to the Post Office for shipment from our Tyler, TX location.
This is a gift. How can I be sure you won't send them my receipt?
We never place a receipt in a any package or with any order. This policy helps us to avoid accidentally sending a receipt to the wrong person. You receive a receipt by email when you place your order, and once your order has shipped, you will receive another email with a tracking (Express mail only) or delivery confirmation number (Priority Mail only) to confirm delivery of your order. You should save these as we do not mail receipts other than by email.
Do you sell wholesale?
No, we do not sell wholesale at this time.
I live outside the U.S. Can I still place an order?
We have had to discontinue sales outside the U.S. due to heightened security at Customs and Postal Centers and extreme delays in delivery times. This is unfortunate and we do apologize but is unavoidable at this time.
I want to send an express order to Tyler, Texas. Do you deliver?
For orders sent to Tyler, Texas (our location), we will be happy to deliver your order to any Tyler Funeral Home, Hospital or Hospice Center. (At the present time we do not make home deliveries.) There is a $10 handling charge for each delivery. We do not charge a shipping charge. When you place your order, before you click on "Add to Cart", type your personal note for your free personalized gift card in the message box. Then add the words "Please Deliver To......" and the name and address of the funeral home, hospital or hospice center. When you are ready to check out, select the appropriate delivery charge as if your order were being mailed. (We will correct this amount to the $10 handling charge before your credit card is charged.) This option is NOT available for payment through PayPal.
PayPal asks for my shipping address. How can I be sure it's not sent to ME?
You can rest assured that we ship your items to the "SHIP TO" address you specify when you place your order, NOT the shipping information supplied at PayPal. The shipping information provided at PayPal is strictly for PayPal purposes only. They offer a special guarantee to the shipper for items sent to a confirmed PayPal address. We do not require this guarantee from PayPal in order to ship your order to a third party, although we do strongly recommend that you verify it is the correct address in order to avoid the item being returned to us.
I sent an order to someone and just found out they have moved. What do I do now?
If the Postal Service is unable to forward the package, they will return it to us. If you wish us to reship the package to the new address, simply contact us by phone or email and let us know the new address. You will be charged another shipping/handling charge as we will be required to pay additional postage to reship the package.
If you don't want to wait until the package is returned to us, you can place a second order to be shipped immediately. When the first order is returned, we will give you a refund for that first order (less the shipping/handling charges).
Tracking delivery, it tells me my package was "accepted in Tyler, Texas". I didn't send my gift to Texas. What does this mean?
For USPS Priority Mail packages, the Postal Service may scan the package when they accept it from us at mailing. In this case, you may see the "Accepted in Tyler, TX" message when checking your tracking number at USPS.com. That is the date and time the package was presented to the Post Office for shipment from our Tyler, TX location.
Does "Delivery Confirmation" guarantee I will know when my gift has been delivered?
With Delivery Confirmation (for USPS Priority packages only) the US Postal Service is supposed to scan the shipping label when the package is delivered. Often, they will also scan it when it is accepted for mailing from us, but not always, depending on the Carrier.
When you go to www.usps.com to check on delivery, you may see a scan at mailing, a scan at each point en route, and a scan when delivered. However, you may not see any scans until actual delivery. On very rare occasions, a Postal Carrier may not scan it when delivered and it may not show actual delivery date, even though it has been delivered.
If my package isn't scanned when delivered, how can I know if it has been delivered?
We do everything possible to assure that the package will be scanned at delivery, including adding a brightly colored label that reads "SCAN BEFORE DELIVERY". Delivery Confirmation is the sole responsibility of the US Postal Service and we are not responsible for items that are not scanned. In the event it is not and you wish to confirm delivery, it will be up to you to contact the recipient of your gift.
